I sponsor and administer this website on behalf of the LGBTQ group sharing their situation. Most of the content is theirs, factually verified by me.
My admin role involves checking content for accuracy and focusing on design and content formatting to optimise the website for web searches.
Ownership and Security
I’m the registered owner of the domain lgbtq-refugees-need-help.com. That gives me the responsibility to ensure the website meets privacy legislation. I confirm that the website is safe to use and that subscribing is secure.
This LGBTQ+ group of refugees don’t have the resources to fund it themselves.

My interaction with the group started in January 2023, when I responded to a post on Quora.com.
Since then, the group has presented a substantial amount of evidence that supports every aspect of their past and current situation. I reiterate that the website’s contents have been verified as factual. Nothing on this website is related to a scam or intent to defraud.
The group’s voices are genuine. The situations and descriptions shared on this website are accurate, verified and credible.
My relationship with the group is purely platonic and supportive.
The website.
The website is a platform for their voice to be heard. They have each been through challenges you and I will hopefully never experience.
Their immediate needs.
They desperately need financial support to supplement their meagre food rations, pay for medicines that aren’t always free, and buy essentials for the women and children.
Morale support is also an essential need. Knowing people from around the world care about their situation can boost their collective esteem and confidence for what the future holds for them.

Their collective despair also prompted me to set up and administer their GoFundMe account.
All donations to the group are processed by the GoFundMe organisation. Donations are then transferred to a dedicated UK bank account, from where I send the total donation amount to the group, using the secure Sendwave app. This provides instant delivery to their dedicated money phone.
